  3. I saw a tv program about it once, and basically they preach alot to you from the bible, they scare you, then they tell you dont worry, because the only reason your like this is because your scared of women. They will pick something from your childhood, which explains why your not attracted to the correct ***. They will the tell you its perfectly healthy to like the same *** as friends, and that maybe you are just confused. They will then organise you to go out on dates with spend time with the opposite sex, and encourage you, and praise you when you do this, you will feel normal, they will often make you feel embarassed ashamed and even scared of homosexuality.

I know this because an ex girl friend of mine (American, of Course) was put into a group ina church to ‘fix’ her. It almost worked as she was so scared and petriofied, but then she moved to the UK where mostly, stuff like this is really rare, not like in the USA where Religion fanatics are quite common..

  6. It is a useless program (except for those who are running it, because of the fee$ that they charge). This type of nonsense causes more harm, due to the blame and guilt that is associated with it. If they tell you to trust jesus and when that doesn’t work, they will then tell you that you were not trusting or praying hard enough (more guilt and frustration). It’s quite a scam that ***** money from gullible people, and leaves them feeling empty. Avoid these “therapies” at all cost — you might as well try to change your height.

  8. You can take a taste by watching the ******* (mostly) movie “But I’m a cheerleader” with Clea DuVall and Natasha Leonne.

  9. People can and do change preferences many times over their life. Look at Anne Hetche for example. She broke off her engagement to Ellen to marry a man.

It happens frequently, you probably know people who gave up the life choice.

So at least you can say that the premise of changing your preference is doable, and “ex-gay therapy” has merit where people want to kick bad habits.
